Privacy Policy

This page explains what NorthRush Outdoors collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we don't do much with your data.

What we collect

We only collect what you type into a form. There are no tracking pixels or advertising cookies on this site.

• When you submit an order request: your name, phone number, email address, company or ranch name, delivery address, contact and payment preferences, any notes you write, and the items in your cart.
• When you send a message or financing enquiry: your name, phone, email, the topic, and your message.
• When you use live chat: your conversation, handled by our chat provider (see Third parties).
• Server logs: standard web-server records including IP address, used to keep the site up and to rate-limit automated abuse.

What we don't collect

We never handle card or bank details through this website. There is no payment form here. When you submit an order it is a request — we contact you afterwards to confirm and arrange payment separately.

Your shopping cart

Your cart is stored in your own browser using localStorage. It never reaches our servers until you submit an order request. Clearing your browser data clears the cart.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, quote freight to your address, confirm your order, and arrange delivery and payment. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with anyone for marketing.

Third parties

• Email delivery. Order and enquiry notifications, and your confirmation email, are sent over Gmail's SMTP service.
• Live chat. Our chat widget is provided by Smartsupp, which processes your chat messages and sets its own cookies. See Smartsupp's privacy policy for details.
• Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.

How long we keep it

Order and enquiry records are kept for as long as we need them for the sale, warranty support, and our own accounting and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your record at any time.

Your choices

Email or call us to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will confirm once it's done.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Order records are stored on our server and access to the admin area is password-protected. No system is perfect, but we hold very little and we hold no financial data at all.
